We currently have a position available for a 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd year Refrigeration Apprentice within a local heating and cooling specialist team.

We are looking for a motivated, committed, and reliable applicant who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving training with GOTAFE and obtain a Certificate III in Air Con and Refrigeration Mechanic.

Previous exposure to the industry would be an advantage and if you are currently in your apprenticeship, you will need to supply an update on your current training units upon request.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Cert III Air Con and Refrigeration qualification through trade block attendance (GOTAFE Wangaratta Campus).

Qualities needed:

• Punctuality, reliability and energetic
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated
• Sound knowledge of WHS
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate with team members and supervisors
• Able to undertake manual/physical work

Qualifications/Skills:

• Driver’s Licence – manual licence preferred
• CI Card required
• Able to work Saturday mornings with team when needed through peak seasonal work load.
