Engineering Apprenticeship – Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical stream)
We have a 1st year Engineering Apprenticeship position available within a local structure manufacturing environment.
We are looking for a motivated, committed, and reliable person who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst completing their formal qualification training at GOTAFE Shepparton in Certificate III Engineering.
Successful shortlisted candidates may be offered a work trial to see the workshop setting and equipment.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical stream).
Qualities needed:
- Punctual, reliability and energetic
- Strong work ethic
- Sound knowledge of WHS processes
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Positive team player
- Genuine interest in the Engineering trade
Qualifications/Skills:
- Cert II Pre-Apprenticeship in Engineering would be an advantage but not essential
- Engineering work experience would be an advantage
- Applicants must hold a CI Card
