A full-time position exists for a new 1st year Garding/Landscape Apprentice to join a gardening maintenance & property landscape business.  

Applicants must be reliable, hard working with a genuine passion for the industry with the ability to develop a strong customer relationships, with an eye for detail towards customers vision.

Majority of works located within the Nathalia and Shepparton area.

The successful applicant will complete their training through trade school over a 3-year period.

This position will offer the apprentice exposure to tasks in both Landscape Construction and Parks and Gardens (Horticulture) using high level, well maintained equipment.

Tasks will include but not limited to:

• Residential grounds maintenance (Lawn care, tree and plant care)
• Irrigation& Landscape projects
• Planting and weed control
• Large scale property maintenance

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.

• Genuine hard-working nature
• Keen and eager to learn all aspects of the industry both in landscape skills and maintaining gardens.
• Physically fit and enjoy practical hands-on work.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible
• Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and work well in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safe use of equipment
• Previous usage of gardening tools would be an advantage

Qualification / Skills

• Exposure to work experience or gardening & landscape Industry exposure would be an advantage but not essential.
