1st year Apprentice Carpenter – Steel Frame
A position exists for an Apprentice to join a fast-paced environment and further their knowledge within the domestic sector of the Building Industry.
Applicants must be reliable, hard working and have reasonable exposure to the domestic sector. This position is working within the steel frame domestic building sector.
Applicants need to be self-motivated, physically fit, Candidates should be up to date with their schooling if they have previously commenced as an apprentice.
This position will continue to grow with the right applicant.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Cert III in Carpentry through Murray Mallee onsite training. Consideration for GOTAFE block release for apprentices that are already assigned to GOTAFE training.
Qualities needed:
- Construction Industry Card (White Card)
- An interest in domestic building – steel frame homes
- Keen and eager to learn all aspects of the industry.
- Physically fit and enjoy practical outdoor work.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and work well in a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver’s License is required.
- Progress report of units completed for any Construction areas provided with application would be an advantage
